Gateway 1st, 4th, 5th
My Gateway career began at Eden Gardens in 2004, and I am so happy to be
back home. This year is my 33rd year of teaching and 4th wonderful year at
Eden Gardens.

I graduated from LSU with a B.S. in Special Education in 1985, received my
masters in Educational Technology and gifted certification from
Northwestern State University in 2007, and completed Plus 30 Graduate
hours. I have taught Special Education mild-moderate in middle and
elementary school, facilitated as a reading coach, and have been teaching
gifted for over 10 years. I will be teaching 1st, 4th and fifth grade
gifted students this year.

I am married to Tab, and we have one son, Chandler, who graduated from LSU and is working on his masters.  I  have two horses are under my care, and I ride dressage. I also enjoy LSU football  and spending time with my family.

It is great to be at “The Garden”!

they might make a mistake. Learning comes from challenges.
